Love this piece, Hi.Yes.Hello. I can relate to so much of this. I’m definitely someone who craves control over things, but the reality is (just like your airplane), so much is simply out of our control.

In that vein, I’ve been learning something called ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). It features strategies to let go control so we can spend energy focused less on trying to control the uncontrollable and more on what we value in life. Good book recommendation that touches on ACT is The Happiness Trap (written by the same guy who made the video above). Might be worth a peek.
